Skill Development and Scholarship Opportunities: A Recap of Day 2 at the Athlete Plus Scholarship Talent Combine in Amman The second day of the Athlete Plus Scholarship Talent Combine in Amman was another huge success for our team and athletes. The athletes were split into five groups based on age and skill level and worked closely with Coach Showalter and former Jordan National Team Head Coach Marwan Maatouk with special focus on skill development. They were taught advanced techniques and strategies that would enhance their gameplay. During the break, the athletes and parents had the opportunity to attend a webinar hosted by Athlete Plus GM Momir Gajic. The webinar was centered around student-athlete scholarship opportunities, and Gajic was joined by two Jordanian college athletes, Fahad Tajali (Lourdes University) and Khaled Thaher (Wheaton College). The session was informative and insightful, and the athletes and parents gained valuable knowledge about the scholarship opportunities available to them. The day concluded with game demo sessions where the athletes worked on advanced 4 on 4 and 5 on 5 drills. These drills focused on improving their teamwork, communication, and decision-making skills. The athletes had a great time working together and showed remarkable improvement in their gameplay.
