Athlete Plus and Veszprem Basketball Club Partner to Create Scholarship Opportunities for Hungarian Athletes
Athlete Plus and Veszprem Basketball Club, one of Hungary's top youth basketball programs, are excited to announce a new partnership! This cooperation will help create basketball scholarship opportunities for young Hungarian athletes all over Europe and United States, while also working on building an International Basketball Academy in Veszprem.
In 2023, the two organizations plan on creating two major events that will bring together top Hungarian talent and introduce them to American basketball in a whole new way.
The first event, the Veszprem Athlete Plus webinar, is planned for February 2023 and will be an online event featuring discussions with students and professionals from across the basketball world.
The second event, a one-of-a-kind camp, is planned for this summer and will connect over 200 young athletes, coaches, scouts, and experts. This camp will be a unique opportunity for young Hungarian athletes to learn from and interact with top professionals in the sport, while also showcasing their skills to a wider audience.

Athlete Plus Partners with FAMOS FC from Sarajevo

a leading sports organization for student-athletes, is proud to announce a partnership with FC FAMOS from Sarajevo.
FC FAMOS is a professional association football club currently playing in the Second League of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (Group Center) and plays its home matches on the Hrasnica Stadium, with thecapacity of 2,000 seats.
Organization with rich history, dating back to 1953, gave the world many generations of successful young people and athletes. Today, Famos is recognized among Bosnian football/soccer fans and experts as a team with great environment for young players, investing resources in their development and infrastructure.
The partnership will consist of multiple events in the coming months, including an upcoming webinar that will take place at the end of this winter. This event will bring together youth soccer players from all parts of Sarajevo and Bosnia, allowing them to listen to some of the world’s most famous coaches as well as providing them with an opportunity to learn about athletic and academic possibilities in Europe and United States.
Athlete Plus will also assist FC FAMOS with organizing their annual tournament, which includes some of Europe’s greatest under 19 football teams such as Red Star Belgrade, Trabzonspor and many others.
Both organizations strive to build a strong partnership that will create opportunities for aspiring student-athletes in Sarajevo and all of Bosnia and Herzegovina for years to come.
Athlete Plus and FC FAMOS also plan to work together on various other initiatives that will help aspiring student-athletes pursue their dreams in sport.

The Andalusian Rowing Federation and Juanjo Marquez’s newest acquisition, AthletePlus.org, are delighted to announce their partnership for the 56th annual Sevilla- Betis rowing regatta. Along with supporting the man and women competition which features World Championships and Olympic medalists, such as: Javier García, Antonio Guzmán, Esperanza Marquez, Ana Navarro representing Real Betis, and Jaime Canalejo, Jorge Knabe, Juan Miguel Palomino Rocio Lao defending the Sevilla colours, AthletePlus.org will particularly promote the “Rising Stars Regatta”, with top under 18 prospects, eligible and ready to be recruited by top colleges and sports academies in the United States.
The Seville-Betis Regatta is a rowing competition that is held annually in the Andalusian capital, specifically in the Guadalquivir river basin, between two boats made up of athletes from the different local rowing clubs (Real Círculo de Labradores, Club Náutico Sevilla, Club de Remo Guadalquivir 86, Club de Remo Ciudad de Sevilla and Club de Remo Río Grande) that represent the two main football teams in the city, Sevilla Fútbol Club and Real Betis Balompié. Its beginnings date back to October 1960, after a one year break in 2020, returns to its normal format for second year in a row.

The 56th Sevilla-Betis regatta will be held on November 12th at Muelle de las Delicias, where new grandstands have been installed, as well as a big screen for spectators to follow live the race and a brand new hospitality area. It will be broadcast live nationwide in Spain on Teledeporte. This agreement was reached through Media Action Sports, the media distribution agency owned by Juanjo Marquez.
The event is one of the most prestigious regattas in Spain and it is growing in interest around Europe, mainly propelled by the high level of the participants and their relationship with two of the top La Liga clubs. Both Eurosport and BBC have reveal their appetite for this Clásica Regatta.
