As the first of its kind in Europe, this program is designed for ambitious basketball players who want to enhance their skills, develop their strength, and receive exposure to the world of college and professional basketball.

EUROPEAN CAPITAL OF CULTURE
Veszprem is a picturesque city located in western Hungary, known for its rich history, stunning architecture, and natural beauty. The city is home to a number of museums, including the Veszprem Castle Museum, where visitors can learn about the city’s history dating back to the Roman Empire. The Castle Hill district is a popular tourist destination, o ering stunning views of the city, as well as a number of cafes and restaurants to enjoy. Additionally, Veszprem hosts numerous cultural events throughout the year, such as the VeszpremFest music festival, which attracts visitors from all over the world.
SUMMER DESTINATION
Lake Balaton, located just a short drive from Veszprem, is the largest lake in Central Europe and is a popular summer destination for Hungarians and tourists alike. The lake o ers a range of activities, from swimming and sunbathing on its sandy beaches to water sports like sailing, windsuing, and kiteboarding. The surrounding countryside is also home to numerous vineyards, producing some of Hungary’s best-known wines, including the white wine BalatonBor. Visitors can take a leisurely stroll around the charming towns and villages surrounding the lake, or take a boat trip to explore the area’s natural beauty from a di erent perspective. In addition to skill and strength development, our program includes exposure games, webinars, scholarship classes, English test prep, sports psychology workshops, and Athlete Plus Veszprem Academy tryouts. Our comprehensive approach to basketball training ensures that players not only improve their skills on the court, but also gain important insights into the world of basketball, and develop valuable life skills that will help them succeed both on and off the court.
STATE OF THE ART FACILITIES
Our program takes place in state-of-the-art facilities that are designed specifically for basketball training. The main facility, the Athlete Plus Veszprem Academy, features multiple basketball courts, including a regulation-sized court, as well as a strength and conditioning center, athletic training room, and meeting rooms for our webinars and scholarship classes. The Academy also includes comfortable and spacious accommodations for our participants, with meals provided in a cafeteria-style setting.
AMERICAN STYLE ACCOMMODATION
We understand the importance of providing comfortable and convenient accommodations for our participants, which is why we’ve taken great care in selecting our housing options. Athlete Plus Summer Prep Europe participants will stay in modern and spacious dormitory-style rooms within the Athlete Plus Veszprem Academy facility. Rooms are furnished with comfortable beds, study desks, and ample storage space. Our accommodations also include common areas where participants can relax and socialize with other players from around the world. Additionally, meals are provided in a cafeteria-style setting, ensuring that participants have access to healthy and nutritious meals throughout their stay. Our accommodations provide a comfortable and convenient home away from home for our participants, allowing them to fully focus on their basketball training and overall experience in Veszprem, Hungary.
